Gabriela Rovski
A year after completing a Master's degree in Painting and Ceramics at the Art Academy in Gdansk, Poland, Gabriela won a grant that allowed her to take part in various workshops and art happenings. Gabriela enjoys painting portraits, and her artistic practice is constantly evolving; she does not limit herself to one established style, subject, or material. She likes to explore and experiment, for example, with glass and other unexpected mediums.
“My life is constantly revolving around art. The process of creation always fascinates me. When I create, I feel powerful and free. I can transform any images, dreams, or feelings into certain colours and shapes. I can encapsulate a message, encourage a dialogue, or provoke reactions.”
Gabriela has participated in various group and solo exhibitions, including Freedom at the Victorian Artists Society Gallery (2024), Portrait Prize at Maldon Artists Network (2022), and Shaping Moods at the Victorian Artists Society (2020).
